The Madrid Shorts film festival was started in 2023 by a group of ambitious Spanish filmmakers that were passionate and creative.
In order to determine the annual winners, the Madrid Shorts Film Festival holds four seasonal selection events over the course of the year. A shortlist of past season winners is used to choose these winners. The prestigious “Artistic Metropol” cinema in Madrid will host the screenings of the prize-winning movies, and tickets for this much anticipated event will go on sale one month in advance.
We collaborate closely with international authors, directors, creators, critics, and members of the film business. We give our participants a platform to express their unique ideas and initiatives by collaborating with diverse periodicals, artists, and producers.
